Our pediatrician is committed to offering care for your child when you need it. Appointments are scheduled from when the office opens until the office closes, and our policy is to make every effort to schedule same-day appointments whenever we can. Walk-ins are are welcomed. We are committed to offering same-day sick visits to every sick child.
Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change
Each visit includes a complete physical examination. At this exam, the health care provider will check the infant or young child’s growth and development, and try to find problems early.
The health care provider will record your child’s height, weight, and other important information. Hearing, vision, and other tests will be part of some visits. Preventive care is important to keep children healthy.
Acute Visits
Because you never know when your child will be sick, we offer same-day sick appointments. Please call early in the day to make acute care same-day sick appointments. Walk-ins are welcomed. We are committed to offering same-day sick visits to every sick child.
Newborn Care
Expecting??? Congratulations! We look forward to providing you and your new bundle of joy with comprehensive and compassionate care. Many first-time parents are not sure what to expect when the baby arrives. We invite all expecting parents to schedule a free prenatal visit to meet Dr. Dotson and staff.
Developmental Screening
Developmental screening provides parents and professionals with information on whether a child’s development is similar to other children of the same age. Screening involves the use of a standardized screening tool.
School and Sport Physicals
The sports physical exam is known as a pre-participation physical examination (PPE). The exam helps determine whether it’s safe for your child to participate in a particular sport. Most sports programs require children and teens to have a sports physical before they can start a new sport or begin a new competitive season.
